Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This TBM called "Fertile Mertle" was part of Marine squadron VMTB-143 "Rocket Raiders" based on the escort carrier USS Gilbert Islands which supported the Australian invasion of Borneo in July 1945. Prior to this in 1943 the squadron operated from land bases during the Guadalcanal and Bougainville campaigns.
