Thom Richard has had some pretty bad luck but he handles it with class.

This happened last year to his unlimited ride.............it's being rebuilt.

     Saw that video on tv this morning, both of those guys very lucky.
Apparently he had raised the canopy to tell the guys behind him about
his engine trouble, but the other pilot couldn't see it.

     It seems really risky to have all those aircraft depart at the same
time, but then I guess it was a race start.
