Is this resource intensive to leave on? I know theres a work around to turn it off but I wonder if its worth it. Any opinions?

I get an update about once a month.   If it happens when you are playing AH and you do not have a big download account it will slow down things like kill messages and the like.

You can preempt the update by doing a manual search for updates in "setting"  "Updates" before you play.

That is some sound advice! I do the same with my antivirus, just in case. Plus a reboot to flush the RAM.

I get updates more often then that. The only work around for it in 10 I know of is in control panel/admin tools/services and right click disabling windows update. You cant turn off updates in settings in Windows 10.
