That is a very strange aft canopy.  I get that they made it 2-place, but the extra room to the rear sides is odd.

I thought it was strange looking too. After watching the vid, I think they are that way to give forward vis for the guy flying from the rear seat.

It looks terrible for sure, but it's like that so the instructor has some way to see forward.

That was some totally unrealistic crap!
  • The propellor rotated both ways, both on the runway and in flight.
  • The engine sounds from the wingtip could only be heard on the runway.
  • The engine sounded like an electric motor in the knee level scene.
  • etc.
