I wont lie, I do love these threads when they crop up from time to time. But only for the chance to see people choices, and shake my head because I have a personal experience fighting some of the mentioned pilots that I can easily make a claim that their inclusion is a mistake. The lack of a mention thus far for Shane, Sonic, RedBull, DrSpek, INK, Kappa, Paleoguy, Irish0ne, Perdweeb, even DrBone and Skyyr here though I find interesting, but is that because of their absence and in some cases personality has made people forget the skills they showed in the air? In reality picking only 5 names out of the scores and scores of excellent pilots AcesHigh has produced over the years is way too small a number and would never be agreed unanimously.
Somewhere on this PC I have a doc named the "Hall of Shade" listing the names of the more nefarious. Perhaps one day I shall compile a "Hall of Fame" listing all the greats AcesHigh has produced, but like the hall of shade it wont be limited by a number but by exactly how they have conducted themselves in our little game in the sky.
