This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Sorry Hitech, as I recall twice were near our CV, while the other two I had just been killed and landed in the tower with immediate lockup.

The reason I ask is because two of the crashes looks like they are in tail hook animation code.

It could be something related to your or someone else's tail hook.

I did not land on the cv's last night at all, took off a couple of times and I don't recall either of the lockups being in a cv aircraft. One of them was while I was in Tu2's at 15k over our CV.

I had several crashes I diagnosed as heat build up. I cleaned my computer very well and they stopped. Just wondering but post your core heat numbers next time. http://listoffreeware.com/best-free-cpu-temperature-monitor-software-windows/

HiTech

I have had two screen lockups while in a B17 then a P-38 tonight.  Both were during a bombing run on a CV.  Both times when I came back I could see the crusier's fire but could not see any of the ships even below 5000 ft.  They could see me they shot me down.

I moved to an inland fight and the screen freeze never happened again.
