getting kicked off when in combat
« on: September 29, 2016, 09:40:44 PM »
I got to say, this issue is starting to make the game "unplayable" or "broken" with getting kicked off line in the middle of flight for no reason multiple times over in a short time span.............. to say the very least it has become extremely F###########ing annoying during combat!

Combat is the most network intensive time in the game. Your computer is sending and receiving lots of data packets very quickly. Perhaps you have other processes running where this added network load is causing the loss of enough data that the game can't cope.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

Is everyone getting kicked off or just you? If you have a bad connection that will kick you off. You can run a pingplot to check your connection quality. More info here. http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,68316.0.html

Same thing has been happening to myself and a squad mate......Aces High will quit, on one instance we both had AH quit at the same time while in the same fight.

Are you getting an error message when it quits?

I've had several CTD's using both DirectX9 and 11. The crash appeared to be isolated to me only.

I have been getting several "Lost Host Connection" discos every night since AHIII launch. Really haven't been able to enjoy the game at all. And I think I'm too old to figure it out.

FLS just getting the dialog box saying Aces High has quit.

Do not ignore that dialog box!  It contains valuable information we can use to find problems!  Two thinkgs in particular.  1)  The offending module name, and 2) the offset address.  Expand the details to find that information and post it in the bug section.  Thank you!
