Question.
« on: September 29, 2016, 10:14:49 PM »
When a fight between you and someone else in inevitable, what do you do?  I have been in fights before playing hockey, but this is with someone I went to school with for a long time. And the actual fight might involve dragging people/friends who didn't need or want to be involved in any of it.

Do you just fight and move on from the outcome.

Or

Do you just let the other hit you, and then just press charges and further hurt their already crappy criminal record?

Not quite sure.

Tell him to grow the frack up, then.

If that fails, then invite him to the DA.  :devil

It isn't worth the aggravation bro.  Let them spew the drivel and do what you need to do.   You don't need that BS dogging your record at any level.   If they were a friend, they wouldn't put another friend in that position.   If they are not a friend, then they shouldn't even be relevant in your life.   You know what you want and this is not something you want.   Maintain your focus, for both yourself and your family.

There is always a time to fight and a time to walk away, but no one can make that call but you.  :salute

Under absolutely no circumstances should a man ever press charges because he lost a fist fight. Especially a pre-arranged one.

If you can talk it through, great. If you cant, do your best. If you lose, who cares? You play hockey. Sometimes you are the butt kicker and sometimes you are the butt kickee.

what would Jason do?

Well ya it's best to walk away bro, but if you can't walk away, make it a quick fight. And don't let anyone catch you.

Agreed.  A judgment call made at the time, not to be questioned afterward.

I tired talking to the kid. Doesn't really want to take into consideration what I had to say. I'm just going to stick with the plan of doing anything. There will be plenty of friends around me and will have my back. I just don't like the feeling that at any moment I might get sucker punched out of the blue. That's the type of person he is.

Take your elbow and try to put it through his face...fight over...if he says anything while laying on the ground bleeding...give him a quick stomp to the groin...then go back to beer pong... :aok

Enroll in a Dojo, and then invite him to group class. Sensei will get you sorted.
