Request: Soft shadows.

At least in Dx11 mode can we please have soft shadows? Pretty please! I've had to turn off shadows altogether because their blocky flickering is just too distracting.

the edges of the shadows aren't blurred so they look more realistic

the shadows are all-over the place, and highly taxing on my  computer power when you fly close to the ground.

I have them off, I can't play with 15 fps near fields and 144 in the air

I find it similar.  Near ground with them on, major hit.  Would really like to see the ability to have self shadows only.  Shadows in the cockpit/on my plane add a lot, IMO.

Thing is I don't think dx9 supports soft shadows. If you have a dx11 capable GPU you will get much better performance with shadows on.
