film viewer

It was fixed or at least it played sound earlier. I am back to NO engine or gun fire sounds. All i get are voice transmissions. My older films, that had sounds, are quiet. Havent changed anything. Well, except for the Internet browser...I got my SMILEYS back!! :x

You have two audio devices, a Realtek and an Nvidia one. I suppose the Nvidia is from your video card through the HDMI connector. If you don't use HDMI for sound, disable the Nvidia sound in your Device Manager and uninstall the sound driver for it. It can be tricky,  try which way it works.

Despite to whether you uninstall any audio device or not, set the one you're using as default and make sure it's chosen either as "windows default" or by name in every program you need sound in.

In this case I believe it is a bug in AHfilm, because it is affecting so many users.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Right! I use the HDMI for all game sounds but voice. Was working before in AH3. Has to be something else or a change with last couple of patches. I did as you suggested, used the Realtech only and again with NVIDIA only, no change when in film viewer. :headscratch:

Same here - I reviewed the last film I created and no game sounds audible other than radio transmissions (send and receive).
