« on: October 05, 2016, 12:53:06 PM »
:airplane:  I recently installed "google chrome" as my default web browser and i cannot figure out how to stop it from returning me to "desktop" when i red X out a page! I would like to have a choice between closing all tabs or current tab! Can anyone suggest how to do this?

Doesn't each tab have the X on the right of the "tongue"? The X in the upper right corner will shut down the entire browser, the X on the tab will close the tab only unless you have one single tab open, then it will shut down the entire browser.

Each tab has it's own X, the red X is for closing the browser.

I don't have Chrome on my machine, but the three other browsers I tested have an X on each tab. For some odd reason there's no IE in my system, either, so I couldn't check that. It wouldn't be the first time that IE does things in a different manner than the rest. Actually, at least Firefox and PaleMoon ask if you really wanted to close all tabs whereas the two other browsers, which seem to be Chrome related, don't.

The number of the beast is 616.

Thank you, that was interesting. Do you think they'd fix it in the future editions?

Maybe, but to be frank 616 doesn't really have the marketing pizazz of 666.
