Plane wish list :DO 335 , P61 , PBY

I think the Do 335 would be a great addition to the air list , it finally gives the Germans a heavy fighter option!  And yes it did see combat in ww2! And was way fast on the deck! It would have to be perked similar to the tempest (which it out ran on the deck in ww2).

The p61 I feel dosnt need much explanation , it was the night fighter work horse of the US in ww2 (saw plenty of combat) and would be a perfect match to the 410 and mossie.

The PBY also doesn't need much explanation either , it was the work horse of the Navy in the Atlantic and Pacific and provided an excellent platform for transporting troops , bombing light ships , and search/scout missions . I think it would be used heavily in ah !
What do you all think?

1) Finally a heavy fighter? AH has three of them in the game already :)
2) The Do 335 never got operational status. A few were tested at the front, but no regular combat unit ever was equipped with them.
3) Oh, that old Clostermann story... ;)

Is the BF110g not a heavy fighter?

The PBY would probably become a hangar queen in short order - unless it was given some kind of exclusive AH superpower, like the Storch has.

A long range icon for TGs?
Or the ability to mark TGs on the map for, say 5 minutes?

IIRC the PBY had air to sea radar (granted I know it was early radar and not what we have today) which could be added to detect fleets and mark them as other people have said. I would love to fly a PBY in a scenario though.

You'd have to give that ability to USAAF bombers as well as these planes were also used widely as maritime patrol/anti-maritime (anti-shipping) platforms, actually much more so than the PBY was.  Until by agreement in 1943, USAAF had primary responsibility for maritime/anti-maritime duties.

The main power of the PBY was in clandestine troop recovery/deployment operations (downed pilots, coast watchers, etc.), and anti-submarine warfare. I like the PBY and I would love to own one, but I think they would be as useful as crop dusters.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

JU88G attack plane would be nice, and reusable for other JU88's

The main job of the PBY was maritime recce/scouting, that was it's bread and butter and stayed that way throughout the entire war.
