A good night to reflect on NFL football
« on: October 16, 2016, 07:19:04 PM »
Well the Shehawks just got away with one, hard to believe none of the officials saw Sherman holding on to Julio's arm. #RiseUp

If he did not hold Julio down I assume it would of been a relatively easy catch.  The trailing defender was on the ground, Julio had Sherman boxed out with the ball in front of him.  I'm think Shermans normally cocky celebration was subdued due to the fact he knew he pulled down a very large man.

When defenders and receivers all turn their backs to the end zone and jump up for a slightly under thrown ball (Thus the reason they all had to turn around), 9 out of 10 times the ref won't throw that flag.
I thought it was a good no-call. :)

All roads to the super bowl will lead through either Minnesota or Washington. Come to grips with it. :)

So what are the chances that Romo is given the keys back? The way Prescott has the Cowboys offense running I dont think the Cowboys should take him out, the team just seems to click better with him at the wheel.

Here is the reason he was open in the first place, illegal hands to the face at the line of scrimmage.

This will be an interesting decision by the head coach,er ...I mean, Jerry Jones.
I'm guessing they keep Prescott in until he proves he can't do the job and so far, that's not been the case.
Romo might be out of a job next year, depending on how his contract is structured.

I like this quote.

" The most frightening part for the rest of the NFL: The Cowboys are winning while Prescott is learning on the job.  Imagine how dangerous Dallas will be when this kid finally gets it."

That would be bad, 93% of the reason of me being in AH is to mock my squad CO for being a Cowboys fan.  :D

The most frightening part for the Cowboys: Tony Romo.

Wait until Jerry Jones drops Romo back in as quarterback against the Eagles.....frustration?  HA!  You have no idea what frustration is!

Take a team on a winning streak, then drop in the quarterback who is most famous for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.....and you think you are frustrated!
