Yes, but at least he got a decent headset out of it. They are quality built, and include a microphone, plus you can detach the headphone and mic and carry the headphones with you for whatever reason. I watched Jayz's review on this and the microphone is heavily compressed, but it should be good for AH because you can change the mic level on the go without having to alt-tab out.
