Full Audio Setup

Really like my Soundcraft GB8 for sound mixing!

LOL, I cant remember the last time I saw an analog mixer. With my job Ive had to be in a lot of folks homes, obviously, and a lot of them were musicians from dabblers to big name Pro's. Over the years Ive seen the transition from home analog mixing setups to simple Macs. And Ive also seen the closing of many a small sound studio which is kinda sad cause they had such influence on music and audio in their day.

The only place I see analog mixers, anymore, are at live events.

Oh, and I have never had a set of Sennheiser headsets which were comfortable.

The padded leather strap on the AKG conforms to your head so well completely eliminating any pressure points on your head, and the ear cups are very comfortable.  I have worn them for 12 hours without any discomfort at all.

I still have my Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro.  I think it's 17 years old now.

I have an old Yamaha board that is just collecting dust these days.  Once in a while, I consider selling it, but then figure it is more expensive to ship it than it is worth.  A good board though and so was that Mackie.

I will definitely look into those.  Head pressure was a serious distraction for me in the scenario.

I've done the same, then I look at the going prices for it, and can't stomach the loss. 

I plan on using it again in setting up a karaoke station for my wife.  Eventually.  Before I die.  lol

All I got is a Sennheiser GAM4E Closed Cup Gaming Headset powered by a Creative SB X7 DAC-AMP but when I'm not using the headset the SB X7 DAC-AMP is driving a set of Logitech Z623 THX-Certified 2.1 speakers w\ 10" subwoofer rated for 400W.

The Logitech's replaced a set of Klipsch THX-Certified 2.1 speakers w\ 9" subwoofer that I had for 13 years until the subwoofer finally blew out.

I also have a Sennheiser PC 350 Open Cup Gaming headset that were superb except for the open cup concept......they let in too much background noise for my tastes but that also was when I had my computer set up located in the front den area of the house.

Since I've moved all my stuff into my own little room now (extra bedroom approx. 10'H x 15'W x 20'L w\ a futon in it) the PC 350's would be OK...........
