yes it is--m3's do not have to drive 15-20 miles to resupp a player.

and who would give up combat to go rescue a downed pilot..

but this wish will not happen.

and why waste the time and effort to do so.
if a person bailed out of a plane 99.99% chance they got shot down-giving someone a kill-so what's the point?

If you are serious about this function, then cover the whole game with a wish for a pilot rescue function. Everyone has the ability to bail out over land or water. Why make the land bailers have to accept a capture or ditch when a storch, jeep, or some new spotting plane type could pick them up? Still you have another question to ask. Why would any player want to wait for someone to decide they want to give up their time to fly or drive some involved period of time to try and find you? That is the cost to benefit you are asking Hitech to weigh for engaging in the programing time to accomplish this.
