Current View not saving
« on: October 27, 2016, 10:07:50 AM »
My front head view is not saving and is constantly getting reset on it's own. The head position goes to far up in the cockpit when either pulling up on the stick or in a dive. The "Home" key does nothing to get it back to the default view. I have to move the head down by using either the "Page up" or "Page down" keys. Then I save it by pressing F10. However it only gets reset again later.

Any tips on this? I've gone through every damn check box in the options trying to fix this annoying issue.

Does your head position change when you move the stick sitting on the runway?

No, only when pulling up, diving, or in a turn.

Are one of your view settings somehow linked to the joystick pitch?

Did it just start happening?

Do you have head movement mapped to any analog or button control?

What do you use for views?

only thing it's mapped to is the num pad on the keyboard. I use one of the dials on the joystick for views. It started happening in aces high 3. 2 never did it.

Have you tried to calibrate that dial in the advanced settings, since you've started playing AH3?
I had to do that with my CH stick, because pitch and yaw were both acting crazy.
Once I calibrated the stick all was good.

I'll try that, but I don't that has anything to do with the views.

Check the mapping on the joystick.

There was a button my joystick that was mapped to the head position. Some how that was affecting it. I removed it and it worked without any issues. Thanks for the help. I feel stupid now.
