Nvidia Drivers 375.70
« on: October 29, 2016, 04:19:01 PM »
Updated my Nvidia Drivers for Battlefield 1, now AH wont even load to the login screen.

My GFX card is : Nvidia GTX 880M

Any Ideas, I'd like to be able to play both games?

Cheers.

Could try and right-click on your volume icon in the task bar.
A lot of time Nvidia will try and change you default audio device.
Just make sure it is set to whatever you use.  In my case I have an old soundblaster card.

I just checked the game with this driver and I can load it. (after making these changes.)

Did you try to restart the PC?

This seems to be one of Nvidia's more stable drivers lately. (the last few were pretty buggy)
I don't understand why AH won't launch for you...

yeah, the only reason I think that it's the driver, is because that is the only thing that has changed on my system!

I'll try rolling back tomorrow to make sure that this is the issue!

Cheers Coogan :aok

I bet it has something to do with NVidea installing their own audio device. Just going into control panel and disable.

If you allow NVidia drivers to install automatically, they will install the HDMI sound drivers and enable them.  If you are not expecting audio from a television, while playing a game, then disable/remove those drivers.  They WILL cause problems.

And now Nvidia is starting to monitor users? PCs are way too cluttered already!
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I think the NVidia spyware is tied to "GeForce Experience".  If you do not install that, then you should be spyware free.

Are you just getting a white screen when you try to start the game?  If you see the Windows frame for the splash screen, try resizing it just a little.

It's actually a bug in the game having to do with the startup when using multiple monitors.
