Loved the transition to AH3
There have been a significant increase of fun for me ..
I think AH3 is way way better than AH2 in so many ways but ultimately I seem to have loads of great dogfights..
So <S> HiTech for the foresight and imagination to make this great sandbox even better for us and <<S>> to all you lot..
Great fights and great fun

Agreed, smaller maps make fights happen even with smaller numbers in Euro TZ  :banana:

All but one in my squad made the transition to AH3.

Clouds look wonderful, daytime fighting is good fun !

One thing everyone still complain about are the water maps - the no-wakes dogfighting over water is literally a killer.

Nighttime is another issue, hard to see where the enemy planes you are about to shoot are, when the neon icons sometimes hide the aircraft shapes.

I'm still smarting from the spanking you gave me yesterday..
But it proves my point.
.. I did like it!
Great fights win or lose...
It was at that fighter town business which was frantic and full on fun..buzz saw is good fun too..maybe it's just new stuff..maybe Shiney new things make the game that much better....
Still..plenty of quality dogfights going on though.

Lot of new features in ah3 as well like th down time on the clip board.  Improved audio and graphics.  The trees in ah2 were made of two dimensional images stuck together in ah3 they look 3d.  The new bases and towns have made for some interesting battles.

There are still a few problems but htc seems to be working on them.

What I reeeely think is cool.....when I'm out in the middle of nowhere in my GV, no one else around, cut my engine, turn the volume waaay up......the wind. I love it!

Gotta agree......AHIII is a big net gain IMO. Whilst all the new visual effects enhance the experience the new fields, towns, strats et add to game play.

Lesson learnt.....new architecture is as important as new rides. Let's not standardise on towns and fields and stuff for the next 5 years...... let's have regular updates adding new battle points ( small and large, hard and soft)........

That only happened after you wasted me, made put on my pink Tutu and up a spit hahaha.... was fun in that area..

I also had some me vs a few last night...it was awesome....they had a repect for the situation and didn't tke any and every shot...made for some good long twisting fights...shout out to Ausmedic,Rubble,bW36ssgt,Hayabusa and FrankB for that fun....I got slaughtered but didn't mind one bit...

Sounds still mess me up though...especially front right....sound comes from the wrong place...can't work out why
