Update:

Concerning the D3DCompiler_47.dll I did a little studying last night & I know now what this file is for so I'll remove this from the context.........for now (necessary for the game client's Dx9.x graphics coding to function correctly within Dx11 API.....).

So, unless the issue is found, the last resort will be for the game client to be totally rewritten for full native Dx11 functionality..........which would actually be IMHO the next logical step to take from my perspective and retire the Dx9.x code entirely..........but Hitech may see it differently.

Would be a LOT easier to do if the current version w\ the HLSL shader compiler was functioning clean.

Continuing w\ testing.................err, playing............

Update:

Since Patch 23 to current Patch 24 I haven't witnessed a single screen pause occur on my box while running under Dx11.

I read in the Patch 23 Release Notes #3 "there should be a frame rate increase near large fields and carriers" which indicates that y'all have changed something within the game client code that would have the potential to free up some CPU\GPU cycles and so this seems to have seemingly resolved the infrequent screen pausing\freezing on my box since.

Will continue to monitor this on my end but since Patch 23 it appears that all is working fine so far..................

FYI.......................... .

When running the dx11 version of AH it is only dx11, and already is 100% native dx11.

HTC in layman's term how did you fix the stutter and freeze problem?

Have not had a problem in sometime now.

I am seeing some stutters still, when I first log on. They seem to go away after 5 or 10 minutes.

I am not getting the stutters now, DX9 or DX11.

I am getting frame rate drops at certain fields in DX11, not tested DX9.  Overall, it is getting there :)

Here is a snippet of the MSI AB graphs of my box running AHIII Patch26 Dx11 on my box along w\ snippets of the Crimson driver as well as the AHIII settings...............

Note the GPU frametime graph line..................

This is about as good as it's gonna get for smoothness for me........w\ no screen pauses\freezes detected to date since the advent of Patch 23.

Loving every minute of it!

Hi MADe,

I've been updating my OS manually for some time (I using Win 7 HP SP1) and the updates that I've seen have been the usual stuff.
Win 10 may be a different story altogether...............but I can't say as I'm not using it at this time.

I know they were talking up Game Mode awhile back.................

I've upgraded my vid card drivers yesterday to Crimson 17.2.1's since AMD has made these WHQL................saw no improvement over 16.12.2's but also saw no drop in performance either.

All else is the same...........
