Back to normal AH3.  It was good while it lasted.

Turning off the "crystal voice" setting in my sound blaster settings stopped the stutter when I keyed up the mic.

Had no stutters for a while, seems to do it every 5 minutes or so now.

Possible something that "builds up" in the server?  Since it appears it went away for all for a brief period after update and then "reappeared again' after xx amount of time....

Just guessing...but seems with the variance in systems that its hard to say its us.

Seems like it all started back again with the Crater map.  The Crater map is one of the most graphically pleasing maps in the game.

I'm still getting micro pauses whenevery I use range or channel VOX, and especically if I look around does the sound start with micro-stutters...mostly engine and VOX. Especially if I look up - sputtering.

DX11. Win10 patched to the wazoo. Nvidia 970GTX latest drivers. Sound Blaster Z.

Confirmed that the stutters seemed to have gone away for a bit but they're back.

I have noticed using the task manager that the moment the game stutters, the cpu usage drops (around 5-20%) then rises up again.

Im not sure if it is in my head, but they seem worse now. Or maybe I just got used to playing without the stutters

The stutter effects physical CPU1 and CPU2 at the same time as well.

Just separate exe files within the game folder. Look for them there. One is for the DirectX11 version, the other for DirectX9.

Still get micro-freezes lasting a second on the Dx11 version.  Frame rates still go into the crapper when near a port or CV while the game shows a rock solid 59fps.

DX9 - All good, no micro stutters that I notice.

DX11 without VR - micro pauses frequently, usually last a second or so

DX11 with VR - Cannot say I notice any micro pausing.

I've read all the posts and so far the definition of stutter/micro/hard etc freeze seems as nebulous as the source of the problem.

Something I haven't seen mention is the hard video freezes like I get.  The VR view reverts to a 2d box, the throttle goes to zero (and maybe some other controls, or trim), and sometimes if I had been using a hat view at the time the view will be stuck until that hat position is pushed and released again. A control has to be moved to reactivate them. It may occur at any time, but most frequently while approaching the larger bases.

So I take it to be helpful I need to get the DX file, record film and also NVIDIA Shadowplay at same time.

Does the AH film record the USB controller(ssssss...) data also? Seems to be a correlation there.
