It is his game, but as with most things the market decides. From what I gather from my friends who still play, numbers haven’t gone north as yet. You would have to think that they probably won’t. So if the market decides, the market doesn’t seem to have embraced the change.
There are a lot of dedicated crew who develop aspects of the whole experience, so your point is a bit invalid. But where do you want to be? Aces High is a niche game and only appeals to interested individuals. That’s it. It’s a cottage industry. An Amish quilt game.
The level of control of this BBS also astounds me. But it’s HTC’s as well, so live with it. It is always about control though. If you can live with being controlled, there is peace in the valley.
But I met some really good people pretending to be a WW2 pilot. That’s the reward. Forget about perks and points and base takes and rule 4’s. I met some really articulate, good hearted people. There’s no price on that.
