Been working load in hours so no flying. Saw the posts about DX 9 or 11, yada yadaa. I flew last week.
My card reports 1GB+ of vram in use for dx11, reports 4GB total but theres really 8GB vram, so obvious 11 is hungry.
Gotta say, turn every thing off in NVidia profiles, use only what you have to.
Use only the game and its options.
You gotta dump as many background process's you can.
W10 lose all that you can, disable/turn off what is
auto matic! So what you have a fast machine, you do not want anything queing up threads but AH, keep it simple. Kill everything and then fly, do you still stutter????? No, well then start turning things on in game.
I can run the game normally and it looks fine. Last I played it was strictly AH options, maxed. Make sure your LCD HDTV is set up for gaming in its options, you'd be surprised with the latest sets. ie: display area in "Full Pixel" I also use NVidia HD sound for HDMI to HDTV speaks, no issue.
Get hardware drivers right, latest and greatest not necessarily the best for your pc. Slightly older pc with only 28 PCI-e lanes, running sli and a pci sound card, could be part answer........
My guess is that there is too much over lapping card crap, sound crap, profiles, what ever.
Look into your device manager. view hardware by connection, irq's, how many devices used the same irq as your vid card. W7 irq16 is loaded, w10 its irq44 and alone! I used message signaled interrupts with w7 to give vid card own irq. You can also use the technique on your HD Audio for windows and sound hardware.
Your PC should only be doing 1 thing, AH111. It has a high demand, keep it simple.
