My machine is like 8 years old so I had to add a USB card into it. Other than that, no real issues.
You need a free HDMI port, and two USB 3 ports open.
To type I just look down the little nose gap to locate the keyboard on my desk and put my fingers on the F and J keys and I touch type. I do have to peek to see keypad references when calling out position on the map.
Other than that it works really pretty easily. It has built in speakers and a mic so you don't need to worry about that either. Also you won't *need* directional hat views anymore so you can reassign those on your stick. I did keep the back view and rear quarters cause I don't like having to turn my head around a bunch to keep good sa. It also reduces motion sickness to use some of the rear views instead of turning.
You might feel REALLY sick at first but with use, that goes away fairly quickly.
