I know it’s a thread hi-jack but I don’t care. Matt, you were exactly the sort of person I was thinking about when I wrote this. It’s been a pleasure to meet shoot and get shot down by you. I trust all is well.
I had a health scare and thought it wise to lose about 40 pounds and exercise like a mad man and surf like a 17 year old again in order to live a little longer. I’m still here so it must be working.
I keep in contact with the other Prawns, but leaving has put lots of things into perspective. The most worrying is the stifling of dissent. This BBS is known as North Korea and not without reason. My point was the whole deal is owned and entering it means playing by the owners rules. That’s fine even after a few Rule 4’s.
Wherever you travel, virtual or real, there are always those that take it upon themselves to police the rest. You can’t mention Starfox (aka Skyyr) or Cybro without some sycophant peddling it up the line and alerting the powers that edit. This BBS is awash with them .
So I’ll re-sup after Christmas and have a play. By the way, anyone that thinks they are essential or bigger than the game or its moral police had best put the cap back on the glue and stop inhaling so hard.
