I had an awesome, fun time flying around in a 262 on Sunday.

I did lose one when I misjudged my altitude over the water and crashed so I think they should remove all the water.

I lost another one when I misjudged my angle of attack when it was dark and collided with a B17 and crashed so I think they should remove the dark.

I lost a third one when I snuck up behind a K4 and closed to fast and collided because I suck so I think they should also remove the suck.

In AHIII it's harder to visually judge your altitude when low over the featureless sea, just like in reality.

The occasional white cap would go along way.........so would looking at your altimeter in a decent. I guess we should ask for Radio Altimeters with a warning alarm

First of all, this is not a rage quit because I'm not mad, I'm just dissapointed in what Hitech thinks water is like. I have flown many hours in a piper warrior over water and also been in snjs over water many times. Yes depth perception is different but you still have it.

JFK JR sure had problems flying over water.
There is a way to easily judge your alt over water... its called an altimeter.. it works quite well....but i also fire a few rounds just to help me see.
