Do you REALLY think people would mass sit in the tower for 20 minutes?  Really?  In our current world, people auger just do they don't have to RTB for 5 minutes...  Strawman....

sunday dec.4th Knights had 23 people sitting in tower 18 of which where there 30 mins to an hour..and I am no way saying that they did it for eny--these are long time Knight players--but it's hard to take defended bases with 5 people

Tower rangers can be frustrating when the players in flight are the minority. Mayby there is a hidden achievement for doing nothing.

do explain how you know these people sat in the tower for so long.  I want specifics so I can report to hitech.

With few exceptions, the percentage of tower sitters is about the same on all sides.  If this rule applied to all sides, the relative difference would remain close to the same, so functional ENY would be no different.

About the only time tower sitters are out of wack is when one side is close to winning the war.  They either A) switch to the about-to-win side, mistakenly thinking they will get their perk point award, or B) stay logged in thinking they need to be logged in to get their perk points.

Yes, it's a mess, but it's what we gots, and the downsides are greater than the upsides when you step back from a myopic view of "I can't fly my D-Pony"

But it's not just a Pony D thing....they are just the most vocal about it...Typh pilots, 152 pilots, F6F pilots...anything 20 ENY and lower without a 25+ variant it causes issue for avid so and so plane pilots....

Tonight Knights were getting hit with the ENY game....if I could have switched sides and known in 1 hour I could be back...I would have done that but yea...we cant have 1 hour back(Can't see any good things that came from changing that to be honest...if someone could show me...that would be cool)

could the eny and hoard problems be fixed with a localization of eny in heavily populated bases (hoard) also only tied into top tier on the score table being targeted..(top 100 or 200 say )

so you are not getting eny if you are fighting away from the masses.. or not get eny if you are new or newish..

just a thought..
