I turned both most the way down. But I listened to music the entire time I flew. I won't lie it did save me a few times though.

Would only work if the game required everyone to use the same headphones or speakers.

Except they could be tied together, perhaps.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I've heared planes "looking" for GVs toggling their engines off to listen for them instead of spotting them visually.

FYI, if you are relying on this for SA, you may be disappointed when I drop in from the Zoneysphere with my engine off.

I am very very sneaky.

I apologize for this tactic to anyone who has a name that starts with "Z".

Wasn't this tactic used in a movie once?  I thought I remembered Henry Fonda's character up in a Bird Dog in the fog, and they shut down the engine and could hear the German's tank columns below.  Battle of the Bulge maybe?

Yup.  Obviously unwise in IMC, even if you don't have AA shooting at you.

We never learn, do we?   Always that chance you can sneak away on the deck, down in the trees....and then "Blam, blam blam!" some nut in a Wirby hiding near the field saws my wing off...
