Not 40 unless spit XIV is added.

Option 40 needs the P-47M and the Spit 14 for it to be viable for the allies.

Much like option 5 needs the Fw190A-8.  How can you have a 8th vrs. Luft setup with the "maybe some A-8's" stipulation??  Why would the A-8 be excluded I guess is the question and concern.  That's like excluding B-17's.  The A-8 should make up the bulk of the Luft interceptors in a set up like number 5.  Don't you agree old friend?

Keep in mind that these couple-sentence descriptions are not the final word on the design of the scenario.  It is just a tentative starting point.  Once we pick the theme, then starts the design process.

(And, yes, I'll tally this up soon and move to the next step.)

While that may be true - Keep in mind it is all we are given to base our voting off of as well.

You could also look at past events with similar theme's. #40 is like Winter Sky, Death Ground minus the tanks. Pretty boring if you ask me.

My point spot on really Devil.  And great advise for someone new to scenarios. I flew them too and when has the A-8 ever been excluded or even restricted in a late war bombing campaign?  And why would it be?  So having no past precedence (like you say) we voted for boring over the surreal.

I see your point. But knowing that the specifics would be decided later, I took it as a given that the A-8 would be featured in the final design - as it should be.

every contender on this list is still half-baked at this point.
