Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This N1K2-J was an aircraft of the 1st squadron of the 343rd Naval Fighter Group. The 343rd was formed in 1944 from the best of the IJNAF's remaining pilots and was principally tasked with the defence of naval installations on the Japanese homeland. While they gave a good account of themselves they could do little to affect the overwhelming American superiority in numbers, training and equipment and suffered heavy losses. This aircraft however survived the war to be examined by American forces.

This is what it looks like in shadow, not sure what you hope to get from this though. My gamma is set at 1.0 and the specular, power and environment effects are set at about the grey value levels I told you about recently.

Looks awesome even on the dark side.  Thanks for posting that.   

I cannot get anything on mine to look that dark in shadow.   Everything is dark charcoal gray.
