New problem.. Framerate says 60fps, but seems much slower.
« on: December 18, 2016, 06:36:10 PM »
Up till today AHIII has run fine on my system, which I updated this summer.

Even though I haven't changed anything I log in today and even though the framerate says 59 or 60fps (when I hit cntrl-I) the screen now has a visible stutter, enough to make dogfighting impossible.

Literally was playing some yesterday and everything was butter smooth (at 60 fps) didn't change a thing on the computer, and today all jittery, even though it says 60 fps I don't believe it.

Blame the internet. With it being the Sunday before Christmas you can bet the internet is getting pushed to the limits.

Didn't think of that.  That would show up as bumps on the "net status" page on the clipboard right?

Right.

That might also show as bouncing ping values in the login screen.

It's not a connection issue.  I've been experiencing the issue since update #10.  Here is a recent post in the bugs forums that I left film of the problem.

Check to see if Windows update is running.  That causes "jitters" on my system.  (Win7)
