I think this is a key issue in how this game progresses and although the OP may be fishing the truth is there are many out there who are feeling and acting the same.

For me, this game is behind in the graphics department but the graphics are ok, they are very playable and making them into something like DCS 2 is not required.

This game is a long way ahead in gameplay.  Hang on, it WAS a long way ahead in gameplay.  In fact it was the most fun WW2 based air combat game out there, and I think it still is.

The problem is it is becoming less and less fun and cause of that I am seriously looking at the competition.  BOS is not for me, ROF is not for me.  DCS might be, it is next on my list to try properly.

Why is AH becoming less fun?  Ask 100 people and you will get 150 answers.  My opinion is there is too much running, too much use of GVs, a lack of players willing to make it fun for all rather than just them, a gaming rule subset that appears to make it harder to find an air fight.

Most of these are player based and not owner based.  No matter what HTC does, you cannot force a hit and run type player to take a risk and force a situation, they will always hit and run.  Bores me enough to not bother but that is not the fault of HTC
