These are the last four of my AH2-era skins that lacked bump or spec maps and so suffered from AH3 shiny syndrome. My other AH2 skins generally look OK in AH3 but I may update some of those at some point. Most of my AH1-era Ju 88, Boston and A-20G skins still lack bump and spec maps but as their 3D models are soon to be replaced by HTC updating them now would be a waste of effort.

I have updated these two skins of mine to AH3-spec to allow them to be embedded into a terrain for a future FSO event.

Greebo are you going to be touching any of the spit8? Two still in AH2 era skins that are very beautiful spit8 skins are 452S/RAAF by Kev367th and 79S/RAAF by ftJR. They are aesthetically pleasing on the spit8 air frame. Your body of work with the spits has been incredible.

I am currently planning on updating a couple of Spit 8s; Kev's 80FW/1TAF RAAF (the shark mouth one) and Jocko's 155S/RAF (SEAC brown and green with a yellow nose). I can add Kev's 452S/RAAF skin to the list but not FTJR's one as is not listed as an orphaned skin.

Thank you, your skins for the FAA are some of the best I've seen you do in all of these years. I'm betting your abilities with the RAAF palette will be just as good. I'm also partial to the spit8 in RAAF livery.

Those skins all suck

I haven't updated any of my old skins for a couple of years but I am going to start doing it again occasionally for some of my pre-AH3 work, beginning with this 39th FS P-47D-11. Rather than start a new thread for each update I'll just add each of them to this one. As there are a lot of images in the thread I have set it up with thumbnails, just click on the image to see the full size version.
