Locked up as in disco or a aceshigh.exe game fault?

Didn't get lock-up like you are describing, but did get a few heavy freezes.  Like 2 seconds +

total lock up. "aceshigh11.exe has stopped responding". had to get out of the game, kill it, then go back in. I wasn't the only one. guys running dx9 had the same problem.

Same thing happened to me and some in my squad just before the start of FSO.  I was in DX11 some were in DX9.  My game froze and I had to Ctrl/Alt/Del to get out.

Check in the game's new temp folder and zip up the dmp file if one was generated for that crash. It will be time stamped along with aceshigh11.exe in the file name. Then attach it back in here for Hitech.

The dump file you sent me is crashing in the display of field status tool tip display. What terrain was used in the fso ? My assumption is that there is an invalid object in the terrain causing the crash.

In regards to this past Friday Night in FSO and multiple people getting dumped, some multiple times

Nefarious' FSO squad the 412th was having the same issues but we all thought it was due to our internet connections because all of our Queh (spelling?) times were very erratic and jumping up to near 50+ milliseconds for some and the delay was looking like morris code

edit: from Texas, NC, WV, AR, DE, OH, NY, etc... all of us from all over the country were experiencing the same....

hope this helps

Found it, it is caused by some factory (Grunt training) set to field owned instead of country owned and the tool tip display of factory status. Next patch it will not cause the crash.

Hitech,

Is this bug something that is general across all AH maps or just a specific map that was used w\ the FSO Friday night?

Was an issue with the map used in FSO. But has since been fixed in the current patch.
