AH's FM-2 is one of the earliest plane shapes in the game and is rather basic and buggy by the game's latest standards. Most of my skins for it date back to 2004 and are also a bit lacking but I decided to give it a refresh anyway. For this skin I've sharpened a few things up on the basic template and added all the AH III effects. It will likely be uploaded to be the new default skin assuming HTC agree.
This aircraft flew with VC-93, part of the carrier USS Petrof Bay's air group throughout the battle of Okinawa during March and April 1945. Here they provided air support for the invasion forces and air cover for the fleet, destroying 17 enemy aircraft in the process.
