On 24 January 2017 Butch Trucks passed away with the cause being suicide
One of the founding members of the Allman Brothers.
I saw the Allman Brothers at Darien Lake waaaay back with sister and her boyfriend. At the end of 'Whipping Post' Butch threw his sticks into the crowd.
Sister's boyfriend got one and I got the other, apologies to the brunette who woke up with sore fingers after I stepped on the stick to prevent anyone else but me from getting it
So I have a set of his sticks that played Whipping post.
