gamma slider for film viewer

All my films appear darker than the in-game versions.  Can we have a gamma slider for the film viewer or at least, make all settings like gamma, views and head positions carry over to the viewer?

This even happens with screen shots. Seems film and screen shots are produced under the default graphics setting for gamma of 1.0.
