Randy

Rocket pods are easily lost to auto ack and from a plane strafing your M4.  As someone mentioned earlier, there are now 8 rapid fire auto ack in town whereas in AH2, there were only 4 rapid fire auto ack.  Also, 4 of the ack are on each side of the town with no buildings to shield you.  So many times if all ack are up, you have more than one auto ack firing on you at any given time.  It can be done, but you have to approach the guns in a systematic way to minimize damage taken from them.

One other change I have noticed is in ah2 town ack lined you up very quickly. In ah3 the gun actually turns toward you. Only figured this out when I drove a gv into town. Rolled in and saw the gun rotating around to fire. It was slow enough for me to jump into the gun and drop it before it fired.

I can still de-ack a town in an M-3.  Took me two tries, but got it on the second.
