I joined the USAF in August of 1974.

Lackland AFB-Basic, Keesler AFB-Training School, Sparrevohn Alaska-Watching the russkies for a year and then finished up my enlistment at Luke AFB in Phoenix where I stayed. 

Aircraft Controller.

Alaska was amazing but I was too young to appreciate it.  Sparrevohn was 150 miles west of Elemendorf, top of a mountain, aaand no wimmen for a year :(

Thats me with my UH-1N at Cam Ranh Bay in 1971. I was a crew chief on the bird I am standing next to, tail number 628.
20 SOS was the organization.

I flew on N models at Fairchild for 5 years before switching to HH-60Gs.  Loved the mighty twin-pack.

Was enlisted USAF 1985-2009.

USAF, 1966-1971 (4 year enlistment and extended one year). Lackland, Keesler, Mactan Philippines (with TDY's to Saigon), Dover DE, Pleiku, Clark RP(with TDY's to various Vietnam bases), HOME. 30150 Aircraft Radio Technician.
