Now That We Have The #'s...

Is there any chance for a second MA?Perhaps with CA's radar/con ranges and a seperate rankings database. There seems to be too may people now in one arena...Not as fun when numbers are 150+...We need another arena of different settings to split the numbers and give us more choice...I love the new price and pilots but it feels a bit like a sardine can at times.

The thing is most people want to be in the BIG show.  The other arenas may be a better game for alot of players, but I tend to beleave everyone is like me.  I would rather play a good game with as many people as possible than a great game with only a few guys.

What REALLY needs to be done is an official, in-game pop-up menu poll run by HTC themselves asking all of us what we want for the one and only main arena setings.  Perhaps even a rotating settings of the top three requested settings.

I can think of several

1.  As is...what we have now
2.  Axis vs Allied (several versions for different theaters, with perk point bonuses to any understrength side).
3.  2-side arena
4.  Naval only arena

Ect.

Hans.

combat theatre is an incomplete arena.

it offers no interesting strat or objectives other than furballing between the two closest fields.

that gets old fast.

add to that the combat theatre maps are all way to big.

warbirds had a good scale to their ETO/MTO/PAC maps that worked wonderfully for furball/strat and a generally fun time

two arenas seldom work but... if the fields were closer together in both arenas it would help a great deal.   If both arenas had more action then there would be a viable choice for many.   Even close fields are useless tho if we don't modify the way they are "taken".... silly to have a couple of suicide buffers with too much time on their hands make all the good fields useless to anyone, freid or foe... either capture it or leave it open to fighters.

Combat Theater Map Size is exelent and shouldn't in any way be changed or set to smaller. Only bad thing with CT are the numbers and lack of strat at the moment.

Making the Maps in the Main Arena bigger would be good, I don't like that 150+ players all within 100 miles and as soon as you drop bellow 10k you get 20 people above you, my computer doesn't like it either.

I see CT as some kind of beta "Realism+ Arena".

From my particular experience, it's the natural evolution from MA. Once you get tired of MA "strategics"  ;) and MA's "enhanced" SA, the step further is CT.

I'm really hooked on CT. Numbers could even worsen my condition.   ;)

Cheers,

Pepe

Fix the radar in the CT, and it'll be a nice change from the MA.
