Please remove the night time

I understand it looks good (apart from the insta black) but it adds nothing to gameplay, in fact it detracts from it.

I like the night time I love to boogie-Night Time needs to stay-if anything it needs a longer duration

Agree.  It adds nothing and should be left to scenarios and Christmas Eve.

Hate the dusk even more.  It always seems to be getting dark.  Need to get a throttle quadrant and map it to the gamma slider.

i just made a perfectly times night run B29 raid to the strats. it was fun.

Seems lately I've been in a rut where it's either late afternoon and about to get dark, dark or early morning. When it's dark you can't see. It looked cool the first time but not being able to see your opponents in a game doesn't lend itself to game play. To say I'm not a fan of night is putting it mildly. I'd be fine if it went from 8 to 4 and right back. Earlier and later it's just dark or too dang dark. Ridiculous. It's a flying game with daytime fighters. Gotta be able to see.

you know the "map" is round, if the sun is setting on the west side of the map, go to the east side and it will be lighter. and vise versa for the few moments its dark.

Depends on the time in the arena. If it's morning, go east. If it's afternoon, go to the west.

As if it were like noon somewhere in the middle. Dawn or dusk---It's still too dark to see! Early morning or late afternoon is only marginally better.

Fug I think it looks super cool as ####. I just don't see it's value in at least the fighter component of our game. Ya just can't see and that's where the coolness ends.

I could see the enemy icons as I came in higher than them but couldn't see the planes, I guessing looking up against the sky they could see my plane but looking down against the ground I couldn't see them.  Gonna have to test it next time,

PS in real nite fighting shouldn't I have been able to at least see the exhaust flames from their planes when I got closer?

I think the problem with the night stems from the same problem of not being able to see aircraft as well anymore it's just more people notice it and dislike it at night...aircraft blend into the background more now

Maybe if they added aspects to facilitate more night combat - like searchlights and flares - guys who like to fight might actually stick around after the sun sets

I agree that looks cool, but I think it was a huge waste of time and effort. The only place I can see it paying off is in scenarios IF they used navigation direct from the stars.

I think the time they used in the stars/night they could have used to flesh out the sound system better.

+1. Aesthetics would go a long way to increase night flying. Some other things like brighter flashes from guns/ord impact, fires on destroyed objects, exhaust flame, cockpit night lighting. But it's all kinda pointless with the moon as bright as the sun in the cockpit and gamma changing defeating the purpose of it being Dark.

I agree with the sentiment cool for events/not really MA in current form.
