Hey Brother.  Not sure where this needs to be reported but since this is your arena maybe you can do what needs done...

When I first got into the arena, everything seemed to be working well.  There was an anomaly of what appeared to be a digital; black rectangle and a 55 tan/brown oil drum floating across the water.

Also.

The first time I tried it the land mode worked well.

Then it locked up after I tried to turn the guns.

Essentially, I shot several shots from the Battleship with no issues.

Then I changed the CV direction.  Tried to click on the map where I wanted my first rounds to go and the yellow and gray millibars (sights) moved, but the guns wouldn't do anything.  They simply pointed straight off the bow.  I had to leave the gun position and come back in it to manually move the guns with my joystick.  Tried to set up a shot by land mode again and it locked the guns again.  Seemingly, Shift Q and Shift W do not function after you have sent the CV into a direction other than what is set up in default.

Hope this helps.

I tried it this evening (no one else in the arena).  A few comments, for what they're worth:

The way you have it set up currently there is but a single possibility of combat, i.e. a single Knight TF (BB and one CA) is in range of any Bishop TF.  For testing purposes it might have been better to have significant overlap of allies/axis paths. (Then again maybe what you set up was changed by players?)

I could not sink anything, even using the 16"ers.  This is in contrast with my prior testing where a single volley from the 16"ers would immediately sink a CA or CV and one or two sink a BB.  This evening the first shot seemed to kill nearly all the guns, even on the BB, but no matter how many times I hit the ship (CA or BB) it would not go down.  (Yes it was an enemy ship, got gun kill messages.)

With a lot of ships in a TF I ran into the problem of my own ships constantly getting in the way of my shot.  I'm not saying there is a solution, I'm just saying it was super annoying. ;)

well I can single up the battleships or keep them as small fleets. ill lower the hardness on them. that might be the problem. will still have to harden up the guns to keep them from getting destroyed and yes the ships can be moved by the players

I couldn't sink the cruiser either, and I hit it repeatedly.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night.I wanted to be there.

Mrs. SlipKnoT is going through a rough menopause.  She is extremely emotional and clingy lately.  Ended up paying attention to her.  Now I can see why men go through a mid life crisis...   sheesh!!!
