Typhoon/Tempest unable to avoid auto ack recently

Like the title says, it seems as though their hidden size value has increased, no amount of ack avoidance works.  Other planes I can deack a town or base without getting a ping.  Typhoon/Tempest take major damage if a single gun is firing.

Im getting to the point where I'm about to call Hitech out for making my plane automatically take crucial parts damage when anything touches it....

For the love of God I'd also like to not be the one who gets damage every time there is a collision too.

And to provide more anecdotal evidence, I decided I was going to bomb a CV in my Typhoon.  First auto puffy shot blew out my engine, 2nd auto puffy blew up my plane.  No one credited with kill.

Ack is out of hand right now.  I think I'd rather take my chances against Vilkas than the auto lasers.

2nd attempt at going into puffy ack, 1st puff hit me, 3rd puff got my oil, 4th puff killed me.  Skuzzy, I fly the Typhoon/Tempest alot, I wouldnt post this for no reason, something has drastically changed with those models.

this must be true because I-deacked a vbase, small airfield and town in one 190 F8 sortie this morning.  The latter two were with guns only.   With no damage.

I retract this post, must have just been a really bad week of luck in just those planes.  Seems fine the last two days, other than the 2nd puffy experience that made me come back to this post.

I did notice the town ack accuracy seemed to be increased.

I wonder if it could be connection based.  I usually connect at 200 - 215 ping.

Going into the ack alone is simply not an option for me.  Going in with others usually results in damage but often I can fly home.

The best I have done is 2 guns before being critically damaged.

the ack fires at where you are going to be, so if you alternate your course it will miss alot.  Its just not working for me in the Typhoon and Tempest, not matter what I do, if the ack is firing at me from any range I am taking a ton of hits in just those two planes.

Have you tried replicating the same attacks in different airframes?  Results?
