So in getting back to AH after a several-year hiatus I finally had my controller mapping all set back up (Ch Combatstick, Throttle Quad, Pro Pedals on Win 10 machine) and everything working well. I flew several times in the arena with decent frame rates and no issues whatsoever with my controllers or mapping. (Good to be back btw!

)
Then I had the bright idea of upgrading to TrackIR 5.
I think it is important to mention here that after adding TrackIR (the software and plugging in the cam) but before starting up AH again, I completely rewired all of my USB peripherals (mouse, keybd, drives, game controllers... the works) to different USB ports and a powered hub to clean up the mess.
While the TrackIR installed easily and seemed to instantly work in AH, when I jumped in a plane and went to take off I realized that all of my stick, throttle, and pedal mapping had changed. I thought perhaps there was a conflict with the TIR and my former stick/hat view settings, but all three of my controllers were now out of whack. When I tried to go back in and remap things the way they were, stranger things began to happen. For example, my throttle levers are now only recognized as buttons to map, rather than sliders, so I am unable to map the first four levers to engines 1-4 as I always have. Then, when trying to remap my pedals, I was able to select the correct functions (Rudder yaw and L&R brakes) but as soon as I rebooted and restarted AH those pedal settings had changed to "Not Assigned". I tried unplugging the TrackIR, rebooting (without running the TrackIR software in the background either) and restarting AH, and the same condition persists: stick and pedal mapping keeps magically changing to an unflyable mess and I am unable to remap my trusty Throttle Quad as the sliders are only recognized as buttons.
Could swapping USB ports be the culprit of my controller issues? I didn't think it mattered where they were plugged in once they were inititally recognized but thought it was worth mentioning.
Seemingly so close to TIR glory, and now I can't even fly at all, even with TIR out of the loop.

TIA for any suggestions!
