The reality of finding targets hard to track at dusk and dawn just added to the fun.

 I don't like it at all. Usually sit in tower and go afk for awhile or else get out of the game altogether.

People leave the game for other reasons too. Ive seen 1/2 the game leave when theres a map change.

When I first saw night I was hoping for some scenarios based on night fighting. Like the RAF bombers blitzing the Reich under cover of night. Or if we ever got PBYs maybe the black Cats and/or all the air activity in the Pacific as the Japanese tried to resupp their garrisons under cover of darkness. Fact is there was significant action in the air at night during the war.

Now I guess hoping for those scenarios is just a pipe dream.

I know it's not always dawn or dusk in the arenas, but out of pure luck or because dawn/dusk is more apt to occur at my playing times, I often log in to find dawn/dusk or experience dawn/dusk within my couple of hours of playing.

I hate dawn/dusk.  It is hard to see and so unpleasant for fighting.

Tonight, I logged in at about 9:30 pm Pacific, saw that it was dawn/dusk and logged out without even taking off once and thus won't fly tonight.

I know there are people who like dawn/dusk.

I suspect a much larger number of people dislike dawn/dusk and that some of those actually log off because of it.

Maybe Hitech could put it on a 23-hour cycle or a 25-hour cycle to randomize it a bit.

My solution is .gamma 2.0.  It's not perfect but it at least allows me to see.

Gebuz, you folks are a finicky bunch.

This passive aggressive approach to showing dislike to evening transitions, (sigh), when we're trying to grow the community, show that we like working together to make this a great game, makes me wonder.  Seriously folks, pick the right battle.

If people spent all their energy coming up with new gameplay ideas and other strategies for Aces High instead of complaining about night time, we'd have a much better cohesive arena.

It would be different if we had true radar intercepts and lack of visibility, but it would make AH a completely different game.
