TrackIR and Field of View
« on: March 25, 2017, 06:05:55 AM »
After installing TrackIR 5 and working out some controller issues I am back in the air and loving it  :x only the current field of view is much too small and close to the gun sight for my liking (I am used to the AH2 view) as I want to be able to see more of the gauges without leaning back and looking down. Without TrackIR this was solved by setting the FoV at ~106, but if I make that manual setting now it disables my TrackIR. Is it possible to set the FoV back further from the gun sight and still have my TrackIR running? TIA!  :salute

Hello Goob...I use TIR and am experimenting with diff. fov settings with no effect on TIR. Currently using 94 fov. I try a different fov every time I log on in the search for my ideal setting.
I will probably settle on a setting between 92 and 100.

You may have to set the FOV, close the game, start TrackIR, then start the game again. Changing the FOV while TrackIR is running may drop the connection between them.
