Happy April fools!! This was all a joke. My career still continues as an undercover. All the nursing stuff was a joke. Sorry if I ruined a few minds. You guys should of known it was a joke when I said "10" years on the job lol. I'm not that old. I've only been with the department for 6 years. It's a great department I work for and I can never leave that place. Again sorry for the inconvenience guys. Happy April fools.

How long did it take you to go from rookie officer/patrol to the detective bureau (are all NY homicides still investigated by the DB?).  Do homicide detectives frequently go undercover in the NYPD?

I didn't want to say anything but I am currently orbiting earth in the International Space Station thats right I am an astronaut. When I get back I plan to quit this and go work in McDonald's. I see it as a natural progression of my career.
