VR and Plane Speed?

The sensation of speed in an airplane near the ground is much greater in VR than regular AH.  Is that because of scaling or the 3-D affect?

I would attribute that to the 3D/VR systems.

Sense of speed AND size.  Objects are life size with VR.  Trees and buildings look like they are huge and are standing right there LoL...
