Game controllers
« on: April 11, 2017, 03:50:19 PM »
Got the Rift.

I cannot get my flight controls to  remember selections, keeps forgeting everything. What you set without rift does not carry over when you use rift.

When using rift to set controls, I cannot access modify or other red boxes. Cannot map a KB......

how annoying is it to have to have oculus home running in background, seriously, u cannot use unit unless its connected to a live oculus server?

I use the headset and sensor only, no other rift controllers active.

VR controller settings are saved separately.

If you want to use the same settings for VR just copy your regular controller files and add vr_ to each one. For example "joystickhotaswarthog.jsm" becomes "vr_joystickhotaswarthog.jsm".

I just started from scratch, multiple times.
Are there files to erase to start again.....

deleteing the jsm vr settings file seems to have cleared this.

just started fresh, now most things work. Seems like the current format does not like changes, the jsm file had multiple selections like it was not overwriting previous selections??????????............the intro musac, i have disabled multiple times but.........

Keep in mind too there are two ways to get to VR.  Both have their own setting file so if it is saved in one it will not be saved in the other.  One way is to enter VR through the regular AH icon.  The other way is to download AH app at the oculus store to the oculus file then just slip on your head set then select the AH app.

There is a bug in the audio settings for VR, which will be addressed in the next patch.
