Event Briefings Are Determined During the Mission Properties By Editing the Axis or Allied Mission

You Must Calculate your Times, remember that the rule of 60 Applies here, 180 would be 3 minutes.

Your Briefing Events Must Be Less than the Briefing Duration

If you want your Briefing to be displayed while in the O'Club You must right click the Actual Mission and Select Add Event

Here are some Event Types

Cue Card - Loads a Text File Briefing
*Note Only One CueCard can be used during a briefing right now

Cue Card Stop - Stops Current Cue Card as a Seperate Event
*Note by checking Stop Current Cue Card you can stop the cue card during any event

Curtain - Opens the Curtain to the Drawing Board in the O'Club
*Note another Event Curtain will close the Curtain to the Board

Max / Min Clipboard, this will open the Clipboard or Close the Clipboard

Pointer - Will move a hand over the drawing board for you to see
*Note on the next event you can select Dispose of current Pointer to remove the Pointer

Sound - Will Play a pre recorded .wav file that you select from your computer.
*note. I wish HiTech would invest in Lame and permit use of .mp3 as .wav files are very large for a voice briefing

Text - Displays Text in your Chat Buffer

Texture - Adds a Picture to the Board.
*note, these must be in either .htx, .bmp, .jpg or .jpeg
Preferred size is 512 x 512 px

This is an example of how a 512 x 512 photo looks on the screen

View - Sets a View in the room or in the Air to force the player to look around.  These view offsets will be determined with the Move Time Incriment in Seconds and Milliseconds.

*Notes View can be set by using the View from the Group Selection.

Looking at the Bottom Portions

You can wait or Pause for a user event.
Such as The First time a user moves the stick, or fires their weapon

Keys that are mapped such as Wheel Brakes or Space are good for allowing
a pause until the user hits the space bar.

Useful Tips.

You can Adjust later events, or move the time by checking the box Adjust Later Events.

This will effect only the events in the Briefing

Using Waypoint Events for Offline and Online Missions

It very easy to add things like text, and sounds, and other things into the mix when you are creating a mission,
such as Radar Contact A1, Inbound from North, 250MPH, Range 15, ALT 15k.

To do this we simply make a waypoint at the radar circle and tie an event to it stating Text.

Here is an example.

Under Routes You will add a waypoint, then a segment.

Right Click on the Segment and you will see Add Event

Add the Event and Select Text and simply write in the text that you wish to have placed and select play at turn.
You can select the Time for Event with a negative number to play the event before the turn by that many seconds.

Always take into consideration the duration of the segment.
